Or from Bloodvein FN on the east side of Lake Winnipeg PR 304 N. via Pine Falls and north of Hollow Water FN .

The local area is of significant cultural heritage with century old Sacred
Sites in and around the community, with countless artifacts being found
all along the areas shorelines and islands.
Also the numerous petroforms sites in the area, that were created by the First People centuries ago in selected places of spiritual significance.
Our local area has been recently designated as a Unesco World Heritage site, because of its Cultural History and has the largest intact Boreal Forest areas in North America/Turtle Island.
The lake and river systems in the area have sustained the local Indigenous people for thousands of years. The people lived off the land and thrived here long before any settlers came into the area. Living off the lands vast resources, the land provided them with life. Moose, bear, caribou, fish, the plants of the forest, berries, herbal medicines were harvested from the land. This large vast area was always inhabited, areas that were remote and isolated, where they lived in harmony and balance with its resources. The world heritage site also encompasses the Atikaki Provincial Park system.
