When I came through Keno City in March 1990 I knew right away that this would be the place where I would want to live. This tranquil, peaceful frontier town is a jewel, I thought. I saw the potential for a tourist business.

My husband and I built cabins “Scandinavian” style: wood interior, big windows, earth colors, etc. We also added a big sauna, with a cedar lined sauna chamber and a large room to rest. (This 260 square ft log building can be easily turned into a rustic cabin).

The third cabin is more like a log house. This L-shaped building is designed with 2 lofts. This building is unfinished. My husband wants to finish it. I keep arguing that the future owner of this property probably wants to put his/her thoughts and ideas into this beautiful log building and finish it accordingly.

A big 2 room garage is close to the highway and it is a good place to store all the goodies, collectibles, etc. It has a barrel stove in it and thus would make a good workshop.
